Releases!
So we currently (April, 2010) have four releases. Our first release came out in 2004. It was a self-released ep called “01.” You can download it below. Neat. Our second release came out in 2005 and was called “Something to Do With Death.” That’s a line from the movie Once Upon a Time in the West and is also the title of Christopher Frayling’s biography of Sergio Leone. After that we put out a CDEP called “…and For a Roof a Sky Full of Stars” in late 2007 sometime. In early 2009 we released a split LP with Germany’s A Fine Boat, That Coffin on Italian label Concubine Records. We have a new record coming out on The Mylene Sheath in July 2010.

Want to Listen to our Songs?
In the near future we’re going to put up a streaming media thing where you can listen to our releases. Until then if you want to hear some songs by us you have several options:

1) You can stream it at our last.fm page.To be honest I have no idea what last.fm does, but people were already putting our songs on there and we were listed with some other new-age band from the 90s also called Angel Eyes so I put together a page for us so that was no longer the case. I STILL have no idea what the point of last.fm is, but the kids seem to be into it.

2) You can “friend” us on “Facebook”. We have a song up there, along with up to date show info.

3) You can go to our MySpace page. MySpace, however, is a nightmare, as you probably know. Either way, though, we have several songs up there.

We’ll get some samples from the new album up in the near future.

Want to Purchase our Songs?
On the off chance you liked what you heard, here are places you can buy Angel Eyes CDs. Please note that they don’t all have the new CDEP yet. We’re working on that. Sorry.

Directly From the Label: Underground Communique

Or from any number of cool distros that carry us:
29 north records
Aquarius Records
Crucial Blast
Ebullition Records
Handstand Records
Interpunk
No Idea Records
Stickfigure Distro
Relapse Records

You can also probably find a number of places to steal our records. While it would be nice if you bought them, we realize this isn’t always a viable/desirable option for everyone, so go ahead and steal away. We won’t report you to the RIAA. We promise.

Want to download our demo EP “01″?
These are the tracks from our first demo from I think 2004. At the time we were stoked, but in hindsight they aren’t so great. Still, it laid a foundation for us to build off of, and I’m still happy about some aspects. I’m not sure why we put the acoustic track on there, but whatever. This is also before Nader joined the band, so there’s very little in the way of keyboards, samples and effects to speak of, meaning the songs are way more stripped down then they are now.

You can check them out individiually or download all of them in a zip file. Click them to just listen. Right-click > Save As… on PC and CTRL-click > Download Linked File on Mac to keep.

01. Kicks are way more brutal than punches.
02. We will bury you.
03. Then it’s decided. Pistols at dawn.
04. July 25, 2003
05. This is why we can’t have nice things
06. Il grande silenzio.

Or you can download everything at once:

Shameless Plugs!
Brendan has a project he’s working on called Ravenholm Is Dead. I (Todd) have a project I’m working on called There is Nothing Buried That Will Not Be Raised. Check them out if you like ambient, droning stuff.
