Recording is chugging along. We took the holiday weekend off last week; this Sunday we’re hoping to finish tracking. We have keys, samples and vocals left. Then the plan is to probably sit on it until after Christmas and then start mixing. We have that show in a few weeks that we need to (desperately) practice for, so that’s what we’ll be doing after we hopefully wrap this up this weekend.

Our friends in A Fine Boat That Coffin will start recording their side over Christmas, and then Mark is going to master both sides before we send it over to Teo and Vinci to have it pressed. Simone from the supremely awesome band Antithesis is doing the artwork, and Vinci said it looks fucking awesome so far. He does a fantastic job on the Antithesis stuff, so I’m pumped to see how it turns out. Anyways, we’ve been talking about this project for over a year now and it’s slowly but surely coming to fruition. We’re extremely excited, humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to work with such incredible people on this. Our thanks go out to Concubine and AFBTC for letting us be a part of it.

Second annual Holiday show (well, that’s how it worked out, we’ll see how next year goes!) with our friends Deep Space Pilots, this time with our other friends Trifog and Bongripper as well. ADDED BONUS: this is Trifog’s CD release show as well!

Holiday shows are always awesome and a lot of fun, so come and rock out with us, and, if you’re inclined, celebrate the season! We hope to see you there!

We started recording last week. The drums are probably done. I’ll post some pics when I get them off my camera. More to follow!
